Meet Our Team

Hello and welcome! My name is Sam and I am the face and soul behind Sam's Signature- Event Planning & Design.

A little background about myself, in my teen years I worked at a local flower shop and fell in love with the design and the creativity that went into each arrangement. My position was to man the front desk, but on days that we were slow the floral designers would show me a thing or two, so I could be helpful on busy days. The floral designs showed faith in me as I began making arrangements more often. Seeing a smile on each customers face brought myself warmth and pleasure.

Fast forward to my college years, I worked for a catering company where I found myself in almost every possible position they had to offer. From server, to bartender, to staffing coordinator I had my hands in every jar I could. This is where I found the passion for event planning. I loved being the point of contact for hosts when it came to serving. From laying out floor plans, to setting up event tables, and making sure the flow was consistent, I was the "go to" employee for many. Making individuals dreams come true was the highlight of my day.

After graduating with my degree in Social Work from WCU (Rams Up!), I went to work in the field of Social Work for about 2 years until I realized maybe my heart was in the wrong career. As this career path ended, I started to work towards this creativity itch I had for some time. I started out by making balloon arches for friend and family parties. I threw a surprise party for a family member. Helped plan and create baby showers. As well as crafted arrangements here and there. I finally created fall baskets for a local business and realized this is something I am passionate about. So, I decided to launch Sam's Signature for fun and to fill my bucket of creativity needs and see where it takes me!

Outside of working, I am usually spending time with my loving and supporting boyfriend and our beautiful maine coon cat who is named Sundae. As well as reading a good book when I have the time. And of course watching the Birds! E-A-G-L-E-S
